Startegic vision
The criterion for the success of scientific research is the extent of correlation and compatibility with industry, the labor market and society. Scientific research must be considered one of the essentials of national security in the next stage in Egypt because it interferes and promotes in all fields. Therefore, all ministries must sponsor it from the Ministry of Defense to the last ministries: and because scientific research interferes in developing all fields: industry, commerce, agriculture, health, armament, security, oil, electricity, energy, utilities, transportation, railways, even sports and antiquities.
Message
- Achieving a rewarding return (to and from) scientific research in maximizing production and the availability of scientific knowledge academically and experimentally through the transfer and marketing of modern scientific, technical and technological knowledge from the results of research and projects to multiple production sectors. This aims to develop national resources and maximize economic, social and environmental benefit, which leads to increased domestic production and services.
- Providing consultations to the government on issues related to the rise of industry in Egypt and how it relies on scientific research.
- The office is responsible for aligning scientific research applications with industry and effectively utilizing scientific and technological energies and directing them towards serving industry and development issues, strengthening ties and strengthening cohesion between scientific and technological research institutions and production and services destinations, and working to engage the scientific and technological base in the effective transfer of advanced technologies.
- Developing national innovations to support small and medium industries within the framework of protecting intellectual property rights. And the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology continues its path in serving the scientific research community in Egypt through its scientific formations, which number approximately two hundred and fifty formations, comprising more than four thousand Egyptian scientists and experts from universities, research centers and various ministries.

Steps to achieving the goals
- Create a scientific base capable of scientific development and innovation.
- Finding a distinguished industrial base that takes the latest technology and its acceptance of continuous development.
- The close connection between the scientific base and the industrial base, to convert scientific achievements into an industrial reality. It is preferable that this linkage arise from a major research center familiar with the country's needs and development goals, with the authority to coordinate and organize with the various scientific research units in the country and the developed industrial sector.
